Hello everyone!!!! This is a bit of a welcome back for both all of you out there and for me. I know the posting here has been quite sparse as of 2025. Life has an interesting way of putting you on new paths. Just to update, its been nearly 4 years since I've left the bar industry. Which means that I no longer have the spare spending money amd time that the bar business afforded me for my exploration and travels. Long gone are the days of the consistent social media presence, homemade cocktails and infusions. Things are simpler now.
More importantly, I've been dealing with health issues. Not to bore you with details, I had a doctor tell me that I was a "walking time bomb" in terms of my state of health. While I assumed that this was an exaggeration and overreaction on her part (it wasnt) I decided that it was time to take care of myself. Nine months later I'm in a better place.
While its hard to engage in many of the events that I used to with a bartenders salary and schedule, I'm going to try my best to find new places to explore, visit old haunts and hopefully find some new brews to taste.
